There's nothing better than a gorgeous furry scarf to luxe up a dull autumn/winter day. Charlotte Simone's furry popsicle scarves are some of the best around, and this Harvey Nichols exclusive burgundy number is a definite winner. Rich burgundy feels right again, non?
Whistles has long been a label to rely on for classic, high quality pieces you'll love forever. The new season does not disappoint, and I'll be adding these pieces to my wish list for winter. Perfect for both work and play.
Giorgia Tordini has long been one of my ultimate style and beauty muses. The designer and creative consultant is Italian yet has the effortless style that you would normally identify with the French. Best of both, non?
Her impeccable style clearly also extends to capturing holiday photos (and choosing holiday destinations) if her Instagram feed is anything to go by. Pure beauty.
To 'live like Giorgia', check out The Coveteur's post on her beautiful New York home (yes, she even lives in New York - I told you she was super cool).
Topshop have long been a highstreet favourite of mine for shoes.
But recently they've really upped their game.
Not only did I find my perfect casual summer wedges that go with everything (WEEKDAY: so good in both black and nude) and perfect winter boots (HOURGLASS: also so good in both black and tan) but now check out these.
A perfect mix of classic with sass. Search GERI and go forth and order... a true Hero Piece.
So I'm super in love with my new skirt. After much searching for my hero piece - with the perfect paper-bag gathered waist, a nod to utility style and the just-so shade of beige - I finally found it in COS this weekend.
I'll be styling it up with a white shirt a la Camille below as well as the eternal classic - stripes. Parfait!
In celebration of the ever-chic French style, design powerhouse Yves Saint Laurent, and the new retrospective exhibition at The Bowes Museum, I've pulled together some looks around the Iconic Le Smoking jacket with Farfetch. As French ladies know, a tailored blazer can be thrown on top of anything for instant chic.
Yves Saint Laurent embodies everything I love about French style - everything we love about the style of Emmanuelle Alt and the French Vogue editors - laidback polish and timeless quality basics that will last forever. As the designer himself put it, 'fashion fades, style is eternal'.
All items featured are Saint Laurent at Farfetch.

It's rare that I notice a handbag (definitely more of a shoe girl) but All Saints have a way with leather goods, and their new handbag collection is perfect. Think butter soft leather, classic colours and iconic shapes including the tote, satchel, hobo, clutch and shoulder bag.
Alongside all things khaki, leather and suede, I'm starting to lean towards a more relaxed fit of denim for Spring. Not quite 'boyfriend' denim, but the size-too-big skinny denim as perfected by our beloved French Vogue Editor Emmanuelle Alt and pals.
Perfect with a relaxed shirt and classic court shoes
After spending some time searching for a new leather jacket, I knew I'd end up finding it in All Saints. They always use the most beautiful butter soft leather and this style, the Balfern, is a classic biker design that I know I'll throw on over everything.
