Label Lust: Guilty Brotherhood

Founder of hot Parisian label Guilty Brotherhood, Kevork Kiledjian, cites as his inspiration "the unique melange of urban life and aesthetic culture, including photography, architecture, film and music". Whatever his approach, he's doing something right. Check out some highlights from the punky fuchsia and black SS10 collection above, and the edgy-luxe AW09/10 collection below...now that's hot!

Jessica Biel and the Unknown Photographer

I stumbled upon these playfully saucy snaps of the lovely Jessica Biel but nowhere is there a reference to the photographer...who could (s)he be?

Christian Louboutin and Piper-Heidsieck

The amazing Mr Louboutin has done it again, creating yet another masterpiece of footwear glory. Although this time, rather than leather, python or crocodile, the material of choice is crystal! In tribute to the nineteenth-century Parisian ritual of drinking from the shoe of one's favourite courtesan, Louboutin, in collaboration with champagne house Piper-Heidsieck, has created a limited edition champagne flute in the shape of a glorious red-soled stiletto. Available exclusively at Selfridges for £350.

Time to get the rollers out

Leighton Meester like you have never seen her before (except back in May 2008 for this InStyle shoot of course) with wave-upon-wave of stunning tousled hair and sultry nude makeup. Gorgeous!

Ever the supermodel, Claudia Schiffer works it for Vogue Paris.
Over-the-knee boots, high-waisted leather shorts and shearling leather jacket...wrong on paper, right on Claudia!

Michael Thompson for Allure

Michael Thompson may just be my new favourite photographer. These stunning wild shots of Eva Mendes, Blake Lively and Kristen Stewart all come from his work for US magazine Allure.

DSquared2

DSquared2's AW 09/10 collection has not got nearly the amount of attention it deserves. It is surely one of their best and most wearable collections yet.

"When times get tuff (sic), enough is never enough! Pack it on! Mix day and night, mix rich and poor, mix old and new: Just mix it up!" - Dean and Dan of DSquared2

Sweet Dreams and a Beautiful Video...

With amazing styling and edgy direction from filmmaker Adria Petty, the video for Beyonce's latest single, Sweet Dreams, is a work of art in itself. As can be seen above, the video stills even stand alone as graphically beautiful pieces.

To enjoy what I think is Beyonce's best single and watch the amazing video head here.

Georgia May Jagger rocks British Vogue

With Jerry Hall's model looks and Mick Jagger's rock star attitude, Georgia May Jagger rocks the November issue of British Vogue. Shot by the great Mario Testino, Georgia oozes "blonde bombshell". It's hard to believe she is only seventeen!

Jan Welters

Some more eye candy, this time from photographer Jan Welters. See more of his work here.

Shoelery

I have just come accross a novel way to update your shoe collection: shoelery! Onceuponabelt.com stocks a wide selection of studded and fringed additions for footwear, my favourites being the antique dangling chains and the ankle feathers. They don't come cheap though; at £75 and £45 respectively. For a cheaper alternative, try H&M for chain necklaces or head down to your nearest haberdashers and make your own.

MAC and DSquared2

Very much looking forward to the release of the new MAC and DSquared2 collaboration which should be released in the next few weeks. I will be promptly raiding my nearest MAC counter for the nude Lip Erase and the gorgeous Nude Rose and Blood Red lipsticks. There is also a rather tasty looking Fuschia Fix balm available. Form a que!
